Depending on what you're requesting, prices vary. The pool industry (as well as most every industry in the United States) has taken a big toll with a severe lack of pool supplies since the 2020 lock down.
The increase of demand from more people staying home and using their pools, and the lack of supplies from factories not producing as much product, has caused the prices of virtually everything in the pool industry to rise exponentially.
We're still in the middle of high demand and low supply, so the prices for pool products and services can change month to month, or even week to week.
Absolutely not!!!
Hear me when I say this, I completely understand that some pieces of pool equipment can be very expensive, and you can find those items online for a more reasonable price than what you may find at pool stores or through pool companies.
But, when someone buys certain pool equipment from me, I become responsible for that equipment and what is done on the job, which I take very seriously. And depending on what item you buy from me, I even give warranties on it, sometimes 1, 2, or even 3 years long.
So, option 1: buy online and have someone else install it,
or
option 2: contact me; I'll walk you through what the best course of action to take with your pool (and even your wallet); purchase item through me and potentially get an extended, direct replacement warranty (again, it depends on the piece of pool equipment you need).
No. The warranties I give come directly from the manufacturer and deal with defective products only.
Nothing can stop lightning from striking near or on your pool equipment. Even if you have a lightning rod system on your property, the static buildup from a strike is still powerful enough to short circuit LOW-VOLTAGE circuits, which are commonly found in automation systems, heaters, and "smart" pumps.
The best way to protect yourself against damage from lightning to your pool equipment is to make sure your home owners insurance policy includes coverage from lightning damage to your pool equipment.
Full service customers get 20% off most main pool equipment replacements (ie. pump, filter, heater, etc.). Other than that, most costs are fixed, so no. However, if a lot of work is done on your pool, you may not get a discount but rather the ability to split the bill in half and pay over 2 billing cycles (I send out bills once per month, so over 2 months), and not have to pay a large bill all at once.
And to be clear, having a "large bill" and "having a lot of work done on your pool" are undefined quantities and not set numbers. The default payment method is the whole bill each month. I reserve the right to offer or resend the option to split a bill in half to pay over 2 months. The final determination of what is "large" and what is "a lot" is up to me.
I'm not against working with you and your bill either.
